    This place was great! We got a ton of food for a good price and the service was great. If you enjoy really good food and old signage this place is the place to go. The entire restaurant is covered in old signs that has been collected over 40 years. I'm a southern girl so the southern hospitality is thick here and the sweet tea was great.

    Great place with real NC BBQ no fake stuff. The staff is so nice. I came in pretty much when they were closing for the night and they still took my order and the BBQ sandwich was great! I plan to return and try some of the other menu items. The restaurant itself is beautiful 50s or 60s diner style with beautiful classic cars. I will definitely be returning. Thank you.

    One of the best bbq places I've ever been to! Atmosphere is amazing. Food is delicious. People are small-town friendly. Will definitely be returning.

    I have been going to Gary's for over 30 year and the bbq is the best I have ever had on a consistent basis! The sandwiches and other items on the menu are great and the hamburger steak is outstanding. Service is fast, friendly and very efficient. Always a great meal in a friendly atmosphere!

    One of the best BBQ places I have visited so far. Homemade everything from the salad dressings to the sauces (which you can buy). I had the BIG BBQ sandwich and it was one of the best I have ever had. His homemade sweet and smokey bbq sauce adds just the right flavor. Actually Gary interacts with the patrons and is happy to talk to everyone.
